Blending Cultures, Crafting Unique Journeys
The name Kajaari came from three of us: Kaia, Jasbinder, and me — Costa Rican, Indian, and American roots woven together into one name and, eventually, one business. Travel has always been where those worlds connect for our family. It seemed like the right thing to build from.

Meet Ariana
I grew up in Costa Rica before I knew what a travel itinerary was. My sense of a place came from living in it: the rhythm of the rainy season, which roads hold up in June, what the Pacific side feels like versus the Caribbean. That's the kind of knowledge you can't get from a research trip.
I started Kajaari because being from Costa Rica gave me something no agency could replicate. I wanted to put that to use for people who actually cared about the difference.

I hold a degree in Ecotourism and am currently completing a Master's in Environmental Sciences, because understanding how tourism affects the places it touches matters to me, not just how it looks on an itinerary.

Every trip I plan gets my full attention. Not a template, not a formula. A real conversation about what travel means to you, and a plan built around that. For every destination, I work with vetted local operators I trust to deliver the same standard I'd expect for myself.​
